Sunday Sounds!
Bring the family on Sunday afternoons June through October for live
music in the courtyard at no charge. Local and regional musicians and
entertainers will brighten up your day and keep your wallet fat.
Grilled foods, soft drinks and wine available for purchase beginning at
noon or bring your own picnic. Bring seating. Entertainment 1:00 -
4:00 pm.June 12 & 13, Progressive Pairing
Château Morrisette, Villa Appalachia, Shooting Creek Brewery,
Blacksnake Meadery, AmRhein Wine Cellars, and Foggy Ridge Cider
collaborate to present a food and drink progressive pairing. Receive
handy directions to each site on this self-guided tour of selected
pairings enhanced by advice on flavor combinations from resident
experts. Make reservations in advance by phone or at any one of the
participating locations or purchase $30 entry on site the day of the
event. 11 am - 5 pm Private limousine services are available

Hands Transit (540.808.9847).Sunday, June 20, Father's Day Luncheon
Featuring a lavish buffet of brunch and lunch items as well as a
limited a la carte menu from 11 am to 3 pm. Reservations recommended.
The Winery will also be open during these hours and tours with tastings
are scheduled at noon, 2:00 and 4:00 pm.Friday, July 2, Friday Night Live!
Southern Remedy, a classic rock group, entertains in the Courtyard from
6 to 9 pm rain or shine. You'll hear your favorite standards
reminiscent of Tom Petty and The Doobie Brothers. $8 person. Our

and music with the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation on the 75th anniversary

United by musical interests that include jazz, blues, bossa nova, soul,
samba, funk and Spanish flamenco; this duo joined forces
to blend the melodic, rhythmic and harmonic riches

Weeping Radish Farm Brewery visits us offering authentic German beer
and brats from 12 to 4 pm. Weeping Radish is North Carolina's oldest
microbrewery. Blues man Scott Perry heats up the courtyard from 1 to 4
pm. No admission charge. Beverages and brats for sale.Saturday, September 4, Cinema on the Lawn
Presenting silver screen classic, "Rear Window," starring James
Stewart and Grace Kelly, on the restaurant lawn. Once the sun sets,
settle back in your chair with a big blanket and watch a classic on the
big screen. Food and wine available. At $5 per person, this is a cheap
date and very romantic! Bring your own seating. Movie starts at 8:30

The Chateau Morrisette Restaurant will be open on Labor Day from 11 am
- 2 pm. The Winery and Gift Shop will be open from 10 am - 5 pm and

Rescue and other rescue groups presenting adorable pets looking for a
caring home. All tests, shots, baths, and grooming have been taken care
of - all you need is a loving heart to qualify as an adoptive parent.
